State the properties a material must have. Boltz returns formulations that meet them. Our first application is recyclable packaging.
Illustrative construction.
Most flexible packaging is a laminate of different plastics bonded together, which recyclers cannot separate. It is being replaced by films made from a single polymer, such as all-polyethylene. That polymer now has to deliver the barrier, sealing and stiffness the laminate provided. EU rules require recyclable packaging by 2030. Finding a construction that works is slow trial and error.
You state the required properties and constraints. Boltz returns a ranked set of formulations that meet them. Lab trials then focus on the most promising candidates instead of broad trial and error.
